Tree Geometry

Jonny Godsmark, UK

Tree Geometry is a piece that connects the right angles of modern man made lighting to the roots of trees and perhaps where we originate from.

The work starts with the regimented linear lines of modern day lighting and slowly breaks back into the organic way that our world once was.

Jonny also craetes the overall lighting design for the entire park, enhancing the naturally beautiful surroundings and certain architectural elements such as the pavilion cafe and The Toe.

Jonny started in the events industry in 1989, at Chichester Festival Theatre. Since then, he's worked in the West End, at Heaven, been on year long tours with Blood Brothers and the Roy Orbison musical, and a show called Taboo. He has designed Lighting for festivals, for buildings, for corporate presentations, Motor Shows, Exhibitions, Road shows, Theatre, Raves and Gigs and a shop for Banksy and now a toe!
