Buckets and Buckets and Buckets of Light
A stunning promenade of up to 100 multi-coloured bucket towers whose colours move up and down in a mesmerising programmed light sequence. Wimperis works in the tradition of the readymade, repurposing everyday objects to create art.
Commissioned by Light Night Leeds, Light Night Wigan and Nightfall, Middlesbrough.

He does these things on commission, in collaboration or on a whim. He is always interested in any chance to make things, as long as those things will bring light and joy to people and has worked all over the country bringing his incredible creations to light. You'll find him at Glastonbury, Shambala, Boom Town, Bristol Light Festival - to name but a few.
