The Matter of The Heart by idontloveyouanymore. Every pulsing light you see in this artwork is connected to the live heartbeat of someone with a connection to Wigan. Look around, each light is inscribed! Whether together or apart, intimately connected or complete strangers, whether far away or near the work, these heartbeats will remain in this space, flashing together.

Initially commissioned by the Light Up Lancaster, Quays Culture, Oldham and Barnsley Bright Nights.
