Young people from Atherton High School, looked after by All Child, explored the streets of Wigan lead by local artist Anna F C Smith (Everyday). Anna's extensive knowledge of the history of Wigan, combined with her inquisitive and creative nature presented the town in a new light. The young people were encouraged to explore unusal and decorative motifs from around the town and design simple shapes based on them. The young people then each attended a neon glass-bending workshops to explore how their designs could be reimagined in light. Neon Creations in Bolton then created each design to create a new, yet old, neon trail for the town.
